"The surgery I had on my right arm in 2018 was successful. The next step was finding a physical therapist. I needed someone to help me get my range of motion back, to teach me how to deal with the pain, and to be patient.
I was nervous not knowing what to expect. Sierra introduced herself as my assigned physical therapist with a warm welcome and a big smile. Her questions as to what happened and my health history were very thorough. Sierra treated me with respect, listened to my body, and illustrated my stretching exercises to make sure I did everything safely and to help me heal. One night I was in so much pain that sleeping was not an option. The next day I told Sierra about the pain.
